Exploring a prehistoric city

With this tour which is the shortest in our offer we will take you to the remains of the prehistoric town of Dvigrad located on a hilltop above what used to be a river bed and which we will also follow so we can stop next to several photo point locations and finally arrive to Žminj where we will make a tour of the old town and then finish our adventure.

The first stop is Svetvinčenat, a charming medieval town known for the Morosini-Grimani Castle.
After a short stop, we continue to the mystical Church of St. Peter, built on an impressive rock with a view of the surrounding valley.
Then we continue to the viewpoint above Bale, where a panoramic view opens up over the western coast of Istria, and on clear days, even all the way to the Alps. A perfect spot for photos and a short break.
The next destination is the town of Bale, known for its stone paved streets, art galleries, and an old town core that looks like it’s frozen in time.
However! We’re not even close to the end! After Bale, we head into the second, equally exciting part of the tour through forests, country roads, and a few more hidden Istrian gems the details will be revealed along the ride!

Our quad adventure starts on a combination of both road and forest trails. By passing through the medieval town of Kanfanar we will arrive to the little Church of St. Mary and the remains of the prehistoric town of Dvigrad.
After sightseeing we will continue driving along the Lim valley and on our way to the beautiful little town of Žminj which we will also visit, we will first stop at the local dairy producer Mljekara Latus where we will taste local cheese and meat delicacies after which we will continue our way back.
